:: A Suite of Powerful Tools

mōsbē contains a set of tools and simulation models that put a complete simulation toolkit on the desktop. It enables users to develop, design, and deploy custom simulations to experiment with new concepts or technologies, visualize future capabilities, develop proof of concept, and create instructional training scenarios for users in the field.

mōsbē enables you to generate results rapidly and affordably - and do it on your own, on a standard PC.

The mōsbē platform contains a suite of development tools based on game technology that make it easy to develop simulations for training, analysis, planning, and visualization.

Viewer™

End user trainees and players use the Viewer to interact with a mōsbē-created simulation. The Viewer installs on each user's PC and brings the simulation to life with the visualization, graphic fidelity and immersive engagement of a video game.

Simulation Development Tools

These tools empower the simulation creator with applications that accelerate the time required to build a simulation - and make it easier to do without contractor support.
  • World Builder™: Create geo-specific 3D worlds from real world data
  • Scenario Editor™: Script custom scenarios through a drag-and-drop interface
  • Entity Editor™: (In Development) Customize the capabilities, behavior, and appearance of 3D objects and assets used in a simulation

Simulation Models

Simulation models are bundled with the Viewer, and manage the end-user experience of the simulation: command-and-control, communications, behavior, rules, actions, effects, and other data that governs the experience of the simulation itself.
  • Currently Available: Mission Planning Model
  • Coming 2008: Incident Command Model for Emergency Response
  • Entity Libraries: 3D art objects and assets that accompany simulation models and use in constructing scenarios and populating worlds
These tools work together to make designing, deploying, and using custom simulations easier, faster, and more affordable than before. mōsbē's powerful but lightweight simulation environment gives you maximum flexibility and customization options.

Flexible, Modular Plug-In Architecture

mōsbē is built on an open architecture platform that enables extensive customization options and the modularity to integrate with other systems and products.

mōsbē can federate via high level architecture (HLA) with legacy M&S systems, SAF models, and other game-based training simulations to serve as an instructor station or operational-level view in an integrated training system. It can also be customized to support API gateways to other systems and databases.

Reuse of Any Simulation Element

Any asset created in mōsbē can be reused as often as desired and shared between multiple simulations - including 3D worlds, scenario files, and 3D objects/assets.

Replay/Rewind and Import/Export

Scenarios can be rewound or replayed as often as necessary, and can even be moved back to live player control in the replay to try for a different outcome or to drill down on or repeat critical, pivotal moments in the scenario.

All scenario data is logged to a file that can be exported via XML for analysis. External or classified data can be imported into the scenario to customize aspects of the simulation based on theoretical or classified data.
